Craft floral wire for florists
Velp has added a dedicated craft floral wire line for florists, craft distributors and hobby retail brands. The range includes green painted stem wire spools, decoration wire and precut lengths packed for retail sale, complementing the company's industrial wire mesh business.
Floral wire is a retail product with retail requirements: consistent color, no sharp burr at the cut end, spools that dispense without tangling, and packaging that stands up in a shop display. Velp produces the wire, applies the coating and prints the retail packaging in one plant, which keeps cost and quality under a single process owner.
Product Range
- Stem wire spools - 22, 24, 26 and 28 gauge green painted wire on 30 m to 100 m spools.
- Precut stem wire - 30 cm, 40 cm and 45 cm lengths bundled for florist use.
- Decoration wire - colored and metallic finish wire for wreaths, garlands and gift wrapping.
- Craft assortment packs - multi-gauge kits for hobby retail.

Why Craft Buyers Consolidate With Velp
Floral wire is often bought as one item among several craft components. Velp manufactures the wire in house, so gauge consistency and coating adhesion stay stable across repeat orders - a common failure point when buying from traders who switch mills between shipments. Color matching is held to a master swatch, and each batch is tested for coating flexibility so the paint does not flake when the wire is bent.
The company also offers low MOQ private label packaging, letting distributors trial a new gauge or color without committing to a container volume.
Packing And Freight
Spools are wound tightly to prevent loosening in transit, then packed in cartons with inner dividers. Precut bundles are banded with paper tape and a paper interleaf to protect the coating. Mixed orders can be consolidated with Velp's other wire products to fill a container efficiently.
